人は飛びたいから、飛ぶ。
朝の教育テレビは、たまに見るとおもしろい。
連続ドラマのような中毒性もなく、誰だって興味があれば、どこからだって楽しめる。
今日は「空を飛ぶ昆虫の秘密」を見た。実験・観察をくり返すことによって、その秘密を明らかにしていく過程は大人だってワクワクするものだ。
特別なカメラで拡大して昆虫の動きをとらえていく・・・
人は高い場所があれば登りたがり、タワーなんかあったものなら上から見渡したがる。
飛行機は窓側が大人気で、観覧車に乗るのに何分も並んで待つ。
ライト兄弟から始まった、人が大空を羽ばたく夢。
それは、飛行機開発で終止符をうたれてしまったのか？
大きな電力と小さな箱の力をかりなくても、飛べる日がくるといいなと思う。
そして、自分の力でいつだって、どこだって見渡せる日がきたらいいなと思う。
人は飛びたいから、飛ぶ。
